From Athens -Friday Thoughts - 14-08-20

Good a Day All,

With the dynamics of college football changing so rapidly shooting video isn’t practical....by the time it’s shot...uploaded to Steve to edit then post to the blog.... it’s very likely the information used in the video is incorrect.

So I am going back to text posting with numerous edits and updates... for the immediate future..

However, we will continue to practice and refine our video skills...

An..Example.... of this problem even with text ....247sports.com just posted it’s top 40 preseason standings.. 20 minutes ago....

And their new number #1 team...... Ohio State ... Duh......

For the moment no new development on the faculty taking a no- confidence vote against the State University System which the Athens campus is part of... for lack of COVID-19 safety..for in classroom teaching......

As I posted earlier...this has the possibility of being a kill shot...for our Dawg football season.... NCCA.... no students on campus and in classrooms.... no sports.... this makes no sense to me.. You surely can
care for a football team and support staff better than the general student population... the team could take online courses just like the rest of the students..... if it’s decided to go this route...

The ability to still recruit at this high level without being able to meet with the recruits in person... is amazing....and bodes well for the our coaching staff and the UGA brand..

I Still question why did the plug get pulled so early by some conferences..

IMHO .. delaying the season start until September 26 would have provided more time to gather information ...it seems like the more logical approach..... hmmmm......

Much more to ponder and mull over ....

Pause and give thanks...

Growl..... need some ideas on what to grill this weekend.... Please..

Next weekend I am having Chicken and Dumplings after cooking the Chicken on the Traeger wood fired Grill, best Chicken and Dumplins ever use Mclibs Dumplings from Piggly Wiggly. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Gooooooooooooood

Chief....that’s why I check with you for ideas..

Never gave a thought to grilling/smoking chicken to be used

To make chicken and dumplings..... have to give it a whirl..
