No video this week.....we had camera issues.... I did firmware update and didn’t understand until after the fact...we went out to shoot and camera gave us warning notices that SIM cards were not compatible.... it now requires two ultra high speed cards..... I will work out the hiccups this weekend and be ready for next weeks shoot...
Rumor mill here is SEC will release schedule before Monday....underscore rumor..... believing it when it happens...
Still a large amount of pushback from UGA faculty and students about starting in person classrooms courses.... several on campus faculty
organizations have written letters to President Morehead about health safety concerns.....
Sidebar..... Athens Clarke County has delayed making a decision about students in classrooms or a date to start school...
Oconee County which borders Athens to the south started school this past Wednesday....students in classrooms.....
Barrow County which borders Athens to the west....was due to start school with in classroom students on August 17.... have halted those plans and now going to go to online classes as a result of 90 staff members be placed in quarantine after being exposed to Covid-19.
Again the importance is... the NCCA has ruled that there must be students on campus taking in classroom courses for the college
football season to go forward....

I have been flipping on both sides of the issue
Colleges are bleeding huge sums of money... not collecting full tuition.. and ticket sales...
Without football ESPN hasn’t got a product to sell to advertising agencies.
Unless there is an explosion of deaths Related to the virus ..... football in some form will be......Played.....

The MAC cancelled their season for all teams. I know they are usually just cannon fodder for the big conferences but it does not bode well. I know money has to be made, but man this does not look promising.

Man it does not look good now. I am not happy. Without football in the fall I have committed to jumping straight to Christmas with the hat and Andy Williams and Dean Martin or rioting. There is no in between.
EDIT: just read a great story about college football. The actual student athletes are safer with the schools than they are at home given how so many come from lower income homes. At school they get healthcare and testing. At home possibly not. Fear mongering is the driving force now.
