Like all of us adapting to the new norm is a challenge . I had to be downtown Athens this morning. At 8 AM from N. Thomas St. to N. Milledge St. total of 15 blocks on Broad Street I saw a total of 5 people…… more vacant parking spots than I can ever remember…. Vehicle traffic was also very light and no UGA buses….. sports news is extremely thin…. Some chatter on NFL trades.. Todd Gurley was cut from the Rams and is looking for a new team…
This was to be a spring of new changes … coaches and players…. For our Dawgs All of which was placed on hold….. to deal with a virus we are learning more about each day…
Imho … just like we have had our resolve tested before.. and came out stronger … I feel it will be the same with this…..
Very much a lovely spring day here in the Classic City…. Enjoyed working in the yard…..
Look out for family and friends …. And yourself ….
Hey Chief ….. what’s happening on your end….. found some yellow fin tuna steaks on sale ….. looking forward to grilling those for Saturday night…
YD1 I will be replacing the front wheel bearings in the John Deere lawn tractor, then I’m going to spend the afternoon Sunday cooking the next weeks dinner entrees to be refrigerated so we’ll just have to heat and eat every evening. Other than that I’m going to try to find some normal and make the best of each day. Ya’ll stay safe and know that Growl is thinking about ya.
