From Athens - Bye week Friday 27-09-19

Good Morning All,

Four games in the books for 2019 already….. waiting felt like it took for ever for the season to get here…

We are into the real season now….

Imho…. We gained more playing a close game with ND than had we blown them out….

Better to have this test at home than on the road….. results may have been totally different….

Coaches will have many teachable moments to use the rest of the season…

Road game with Assburn comes to mind…. Best know before hand how
To deal with a hostile game environment …….

Had ND worked harder on dealing with crowd noise.. can’t help but think
They would have been in better shape on penalties and wasted timeouts..

In the coming weeks we will have the opportunity to test our ability to handle crowd noise……

One last time….. this game was exactly why we need to move the UF game back on campus…. Recruiting …. We will find out soon just what rewards we harvest from this past weekend with players committing to UGA…… early reports that recruits couldn’t say enough good things and how they were completely blown away with the game experience…

Sidebar…. Fans truly enjoyed the experience also…. Translation ….play home games against quality teams..

Kudos to Scrooge for spending the money to upgrade Sanfords LED lighting…. Awesome…

Players use the bye week to heal and work on getting better…

Vols should give us the opportunity to play young pups to gain game experience ….

If anyone is into stats UGA came into the season number 11 in all time wins but the Dawgs re closing on Tennessee and USC quickly.

This is a game that could be closer than many think. UT knows our offense. If they can control the run then it could be a bit tight. UT is going to go all in as this game would make their season. Their HC and OC know what we do really well.
