Good Morning All,

Fall practice is in full swing….. Vandy in just a short 22 days….
Another player has chosen to test the limits of how much they could live outside the rules set forth by CKS..

Wish Brandon had chosen to make amends for his errors…. Heard rumblings that he was also guilty of giving coaches a hard time…

Wish him well and thanks for his past efforts…..

What I am hearing from my ears on campus is that everyone comes to practice…..with the idea of working on getting better…..

It struck me going back to CJP’s “ Who’s going to start the fire”
just how much our current coaches place on using practice sessions as a time to get better….practice harder so playing the game becomes easier..

Earlier this summer I posted how much I am looking forward to seeing this new mix of freshman and experienced players work at creating a identity ….add to the mix both a new OC & DC….. a huge plus for us
Is they both know how to speak Kirby…..

CKS has spoken before to how all the coaching staff contribute to what we see on Saturdays…….. a very good thing

Next three weeks will go by in a blur….. wait is almost over…..

Taking next week off for a family vacation before the start of football…

Pause and give thanks…..

Two weeks from today...looking forward to football season starting.

Sadly going to miss my almamaters opening game due to a work event. Hard to complain when they pay you to play golf.

So, is this going to be the year of the dawg? I’m going to say it’s now or never for Kirby.
