When CKS was hired I was one of the ones who voiced that his first year was actually 24 months long…. That year one is pretty much finding your footing and learning what needs to be done and the best way to go about doing it….. feel this true for any HC and more so for anyone assuming the position of a HC for the first time…..
CKS didn’t blink or run for the coach speak ….. we need to learn how to finish the big games…… players and coaches …. He put it squarely on himself………..
We on this board spoke about the seasoning of our HC….. this is one of the areas ….. truly believe HC knows what he wants to get done…. Having the players who can execute ( insert quality depth here) is part of the ongoing process…. And factors into the need to maintain a high level of recruiting ….
Fall camp starts in two weeks…… Players know what to expect… rookies have been warned …..be ready…..Vandy 43 days….
