Go Dawgs!
From Athens- Friday Thoughts 01-03-19 was created by yankeedawg1
Good Day All,
Express BPS..... Lots of chatter about schedule change with Auburn.... feel very certain that HC was on board with this or it would never have happened.
To the naked eye looks like Assburn got the best of the deal... me thinks as always CKS is playing the long game .... believe when it washes out it will be a good move for the Dawgs.....
And....... other rainy weekend in the Classic City.... inside chores
Pause and give thanks
Have a great weekend and a safe week
As always " GO Dawgs "

yankeedawg1, the light finally went on in this old noggin' . . . .
Have left little doubt over a period of time that Erk Russell was and remains my favorite coach at UGA, ever . . . .
Coach that has impressed me the same way as Erk is Sam Pittman. So many of the same characteristics the two share. Players come and go, however they seem to remember both of these coaches in a different way than most that play football for others. Goes a bit deeper than arriving on campus, putting in the time and moving on. More and more I understand why the Arkansas offensive line players went to Sam's home as a group trying to get him to remain as the offensive line coach.
Simply put, Coach Sam Pittman is a "treasure". In the passing years many of the Dawg FANS of today will discuss and remember Sam Pittman the same way that some of us have remembered and held on to our feelings for Erk Russell. It is sometimes said that an extremely talented player comes along only so often. Believe that the same can now be said about Sam Pittman. Coach Sam Pittman has changed the way football is played in Athens, Erk did the same many years ago.
Thanks for the BPS yankeedawg1, high fives to you for your many efforts on this board, much appreciated.

Good read Buc and thanks for kind words...much appreciated
I am sure you have been blessed as I have to experience the benefits of having a mentor....
Sam is both a damn fine coach but his coaching goes beyond
Football.... his connections to his players goes much deeper..
Excellent choice of words.....CSP...is a treasure....the sense around
Athens..he and his family truly love Athens....a very good thing..
Go Dawgs
