From Athens- Friday Thoughts 22-02-19

Good Morning All,

I enjoyed seeing our HC and Coach Warren taking the time to visit with the military.

Making the effort to travel and spend time on Base with 128th Airborne Command & Control Squadron….. it was another example of doing things the right way……

Our AD received a year’s extension to his contract with no pay increase.

It was reported that it was his choice to work on a yearly contract the same setup that President Morehead ….. grossly overpaid based on his performance….. or lack thereof…..

Maybe someone would explain what was our gain in accommodating Assburn changing when we play them….. they didn’t like to play Bama and us in the same month….. with a creampuff game in between….

Something we are missing here??….. we still never did get to play in Athens two years in a row … like we had to play Auburn two years in a row at their place…. Due to conference expansion …..

Players chopping away with winter drills….

Vegas has us 10.5 point favorite over ND….. big stage in Athens…

Pause and give thanks….
