Like the move.
One of Kirby's talents. Coach had no timeline to determine his move, not that any time period was set before or after Mel Tucker departed.
Also like the fact that the coaches on Kirby's staff spend time on the road recruiting, was not the case with "some" of our coaches in the past. yd1 you mention Grantham in your text above, prime example of a coach brought in and from the start he felt more qualified than the head coach. When we played the game in Orlando against Nebraska, thought Richt and Grantham were going to come to blows. Will try to say this "tactfully" . . . . glad both found their way out of Athens.
Folks in Florida "think" they have the best defensive coordinator in the business . . . . Bet this . . . . Grantham gets along with no one, has a problem with head enlargement, most folks skulls come together soon after birth, some don't. See where his name was mentioned again to return to the NFL, anyone that believes that has been fully "captured" by the "press". Same situation happened while Grantham was in Athens, NFL does not have any desire for Grantham's return. One other "thingy" . . . . not surprising to me that Kirby hired Charlton Warren as defensive back coach, good move and easily one anticipated with Grantham as defensive coordinator. Coincidence . . . . not from where I sit.
