From Athens- Game Day Friday #11 17-11-18

Good Morning All,

Once again many excellent points posted after the game….and during the week following…..

Warts …. Taking a step back with our loss at LSU… making it possible to take steps forward and improve….. no question… improvements showed in our next three games…. May have been a different outcome in Lexington had we not refocused and raised the bar….. coaches and players both learned from our trip to Baton Rouge…..

Buc ….. spot on with the importance of practicing to a high level…. Competition to earn playing time on Saturday…. And the truth about being ready to play…. Next man up … quality depth….

Both these examples …. Focus the HC’s commitment to the process…. No shortcuts ….. no easy passes….. work…. Keep chopping….

Recent success on recruiting should tamper down those who were having gas pains because we had recruits jumping ship….

Yes we have work to do on recruiting…. Remain Calm… In Kirby and Crew… We Trust...truly believe at the end of NSD we will have the players we need to keep the process moving forward…. Yes having the Number #1 Recruiting Class is important…… IMO having talented recruits who fill our position needs is of greater importance….. which would place us in the top 3 in recruiting…….

About our game this week: I am sure the coaches will use this opportunity to go deep into our bench….. and gain game experience for a number of players
….. much like Austin Pea ….. no need to expand the playbook….. use what tools that have worked ….. take care of business…. Shake hands….. shower and ring the chapel bell……
