From Athens- Game Day Friday #7 12-10-18

Good Morning All,

First … thoughts and prayers for those who were in the path of hurricane Michael …… and to those who are facing the challenge to build back and recover…

At the halfway pole we are… 6-0…. And the heads still wanting to know what’s …Wrong with the Dawgs…… yada yada …. Needing to play Fields more… yip ..yip..yip…

Buc …. You touched a very important truth…… while they are many areas we can and will improve…. The product we have put on the field these last two years vastly different than what we were use to just a short while ago….subjects we would address each week before and after each Richting game…. have disappeared …… gratefully…..

Fans and the press truly don’t know what to expect from our football team….. is the balloon of our recent successes going to burst????? Will we again fall into the great wasteland of losing to lesser teams…. I think not…..

CKS has done a great job of coaching….. keeping the team grounded and focused on getting better….. key point …how we block out the media hype and noise….. aka … rat poison…..

Getting the players to buy in ….. just what our standard is…….

We have gone about the job of recruiting quality depth and playing freshman early to gain experience…. Competition in practice has provided us with the ability to answer the question…. Next man up ….

And will they be ready to play ……. All this feeds back into being able to recruit at a high level…. For those who embrace the challenge of competing against players with a higher level of talent……

As been pointed out by several posters here …..It’s true we lost a boat load of talent and experience….. however, with each passing game our young pups and growing up and getting better….. it can be nerve racking at times….. and give us gas pains…. As Buc points out…. we back these past two years of outstanding recruiting with a third….. our future ...will be ….. amazing …..

Trip to Baton Rouge ……. Opportunity for young pups to sense what going on the road in the SEC is all about….. growing up time….

Vegas likes us by 7.5 ….. me thinks this is low……

Dawgs arrive with much to prove to themselves….

CKS and staff will have us prepared…..

Last time we played LSwho we had a QB # 11……

This time we have another QB # 11 and another wearing # 1 ….

TE’s and backs ……. Big day in passing game ….. ball is going to come out quickly…. Jake wants to run up tempo ……

Growl …. 3:30 kick …. Troops want a taco bar …. With shredded grilled chicken …. Quick and easy …. They can feed themselves …
