From Athens- Friday Thoughts

Good Morning All,

Heads are trying to stir the pudd’n about Coach Scott’s failure to add
Depth to the DL with the Class of 2019……

I believe we have several silent commits and it would not surprise me if this does not include DL…

As Buc pointed out… correctly… very possible that a number of the big bodies we have on the OL don’t switch to DL…. Several played both in HS…..

We also have trended to a late charge at the end of the recruiting cycle.. recruits wanting to add extra drama…

IMHO….. we will be fine… recruit and sign the players we need to build position depth….. just as we have in the first two cycles of CKS tenure.

Just to finish a thought…. Kinda spooky the similarity between AM and Jake…. Beyond uniform numbers…. Jake has put his summer workouts to good use….. like AM he is becoming a coach on the field…. Expect him to continue to grow in this area…. A very good thing

Sunday is July First….. blink blink… fall camp will be starting… and then Labor Day Weekend and our first game…. Can’t wait…. Itchy already..

Wednesday is the 4th…. Again time to acknowledge our military … nothing free about the freedoms we enjoy…..
