From Athens- Friday Thoughts

Good Day All,

Wet week in Athens…lawn and plants loving it….. I caught a break and it was dry this evening so buzzed the lawn….. enjoyed supper and now enjoying a Class V Thunderstorm… raining sideways…..

While shopping yesterday afternoon at Publix on the Eastside I had the pleasure to meet none other than Scrooge….. Dressed to the nines in stripped UGA dress shirt and tie…. Eyeglasses resting on the tip of his nose while texting away….

Observation One... Totally filled with himself…..oozing self importance.. dosen’t walk..full fledged strut….. aloof is to be kind…

Observation Two…. I finished going through self checkout… and stood off to the side and watched as the Mrs. Appeared carrying arms full of items.. Scrooge didn’t offer any help…not surprising …

In total at least 30 employees and shoppers passed by….no words exchanged ..no eye contact….

In my mind…confirms what many here have voiced…. Well paid..Towel boy for the Row…. On a very short leash… must check with Prez before passing gas.. Next original thought will be his first…. Also has orders to stay away from football coaches…. Believe this has been extended to Coach Crean….

Just a quick ending thought….. Coach Smart and Coach Crean…. High energy coaches…. Coach Richt and Coach Fox were not…..

This is Memorial Day weekend… time to remember all who didn’t come home…. Freedom is not free…. Heartfelt thanks to all the Gold Star families who this weekend holds very special memories.

Pouty is up everyone's backside when it benefits his walking space on campus. Will be interesting to see who Pouty partners up with now that Seth Emerson left. Chip is one of those that thinks he has lived in the neighborhood longer than others therefore he should be treated differently. Kirby put a quick end to that during his first couple of press conferences. Kirby Smart's hiring will force some to think differently about their "methods of the past". Nick Saban did the same thing in Tuscaloosa, Kirby watched the entire "process". Thanks again for moving the ball forward to Jeremy Pruitt. He was the beginning of what we see happening in Athens. Scrooge and Pouty are along for the ride, both benefit on Pruitt and Smart's time spent with Nick.

Scrooge as I have posted before...is exactly the AD the Row wants.....putty..

Absolutely....Kirby saved Scrooge’s bacon and filled the counting room with a massive amount

Of new coin.... truth ... CKS... gave new oxygen to the Row also....

Pouty aka Skipper is ...... welll need not repeat what’s already known.....

Scrooge will get some added jingle.....because time in service..... not for performance..
