Go Dawgs!

Good Morning All,
I can only speak for myself but going into spring ball this year is a new experience…
While there are areas of concern to be addressed and the development of new players it is still a pretty wish free spring that is….
Wish free as in …..wishing we could be changing coaches…. Wandering in the woods looking for a team identity….. wishing that AM was still our QB…. Among a list of other wishes…..
Speaking of AM….. I was out walking the trails at the Botanical Gardens and had the thought…. What if….. AM had played four years for CKS…. And had the benefit of the defense we had the past two years….. hmmm….. just a thought……
I posted here recently that I felt CKS was comfortable in his skin and that was a very good thing for our football program…
Buc shared a video of CKS speaking in Anderson,SC… if you haven’t watched it…well worth the time..
Kirby spoke in video about something he had said soon after arriving in Athens… and I had forgotten….. “ You need to learn to be comfortable with being uncomfortable”…….. if you don’t you will stop growing as a person……
So correcting myself….. nothing new there…right…..
Kirby has taken that to heart and we see examples all over…. Year one press conferences …… compared to year two……..
Even more important he has the players buying into this process….
Also noted in the same video is HC talking about a class all freshmen players our required to take….. “Learning Humility “….
How to adjust from all the glitter of HS… to being part of a bigger picture were words like we and us are used….. a very good thing
Explains to me in part…how we conduct ourselves….. so well…..
Spring ball starts very soon…. Dawgs in the weight room… getting bigger…..
Pause and give thanks…..
Have a great weekend and a safe week
As always “Go Dawgs”

YD1, I love the botanical gardens at UGA. I shot some film there back in the old days. UGA has a beautiful campus.
... kind of like what you said.... I am still adjusting my thinking... I can say it feels very good.
Thank you CKS. Good job sir.

Same stuff every year.... schedule is made years in advance.....just need to beat who you play each week
Duh.... beat every SEC team.....isn’t that the objective every year??
Ohio State has feasted off weak schedules for years..
More click bait.....
