From Athens- Friday Thoughts

Good Morning All,

Caught a blue bird day in Athens today (Thursday)….. balmy 80 and sunny

Sorry that the pollen has started so early for those who are affected…

Had coffee with a local rooster Dawg fan this week….

Some of his friends are wringing their hands that we will sink back into the muck that followed us for so many of our previous seasons…

Doom Sayers and flat earth people aka Richbots….. our success was just
A shooting star in the sky of college football……

As I have posted several times….. everyone has an opinion …… to me

This is just falling into the talking heads script……

His other concern is we will set our expectations so high that anything short of a National Championship will be looked upon a failure…. Couple that we not having the Number One Recruiting class for 2019 as another sign of returning to our old ways…..

IMHO…… Horse Hockey…….

I have no clue as to what our record will be this coming season…

What I do know is we will be ready to play each game…. Focused to the job that needs to be done…. Yes chopping wood….. never gets finished… move to the next pile….. sharpen the axes and get after it…

Way I look at it….. our loss to Auburn….. motivated us to get better and

Given the opportunity we would correct our mistakes and beat them the next time….. which we did sooner than we expected….

As HC stated ….. We aren’t going anywhere…… what we are going to do is get better….

This bunch of Dawg pups will be fun to watch…….

Excitement is back in Georgia football…. A very good thing

Was able to enjoy lunch today with Boss Dawg….. expressed how

Thankful we are to have this blog to be able to post our thoughts without the giant pissing contests that appear elsewhere……

Again thank you Steve for letting us play in the sandbox….

To beat the DAWGS next season teams are going to have to bring their A+ games, and if they do it is going to be some great football for us fans to watch. Whats not to like about that?
