From Athens- Game Day Sunday#1

Good Day All,

Time to get our game face on…..

Santa has made his way back north and most of the Christmas goodies have been consumed …….

Much has been written about this game being the classic high power offense against a stellar defense… Howard Cosell was the master of overstating the obvious ……. The heads have covered this endlessly…

Not much has been said about special teams…..

This would be an excellent time for #4 to take a punt to the house…

IMHO…… our.. ST.. play…. Will play a big part in us winning…

Good feeling knowing we have a kicking game that has been solid this season….

I can recall reading for much of the season about how we were going to play Miami in our bowl game……. Extremely happy the heads missed on that call…

Sadly we Dawgs fans are missing playing in Charlotte,Memphis,Birmigham,Shreveport,Jaxsonville,Orlando,Tampa and Boise…. While Atlanta will be just fine Monday week......

Kirby will have us focused…..Mel will have a plan for the Wolfpack…

Keep playing like it is the fifth quarter of the SECG…..

This is it, the gateway to Atlanta. Let's barge through it and GATA. Oklahoma gonna get a face full of the wolfpack.

Kirby will have them ready to play. Chaney & Mel will have their plans set. 4 quarters of fast & physical, hat speed, flat back, helmets in the chest of the opposition.

Limit the stupid penalties, excellent special teams play, smothering defense, disciplined football....is how championships are won.

Let's see SEC football at its finest tomorrow and if we do, then we'll see Atlanta.
