It was mentioned on this board a while back that there was going to be efforts made to hire Coach Coley. Speaking for myself, said I would hate to see him leave. Jimbo Fisher went directly to try and hire Coley. Below is a good article on the subject if you care to read. There are going to be a lot of offers in the future for Coley, like he says below however, it won't be for the wrong reason(s) that he departs Athens.

Buc... would not be surprised that CKS has spoken-with his assistants about opportunities for
Advancement.....much like CNS did with Kirby ..... wait until ...the right opportunity comes.
In the not to distant future we will be speaking of coaching branches from the Kirby tree..
HC has nose for players and assistant coaches..... a very good thing..
Go Dawgs

yankeedawg1, I am still a bit overwhelmed with the improvement that has taken place in Athens.
As you mention above, Advancement.....much like CNS did with Kirby ..... wait until ...the right opportunity comes.
Tempo is going to pick up now because the last two recruiting cycles have produced handsomely. Referring to coaching. With the talent level moving higher, much is going to be expected from Smart and Company.
Still a believer that Jeremy Pruitt hit the right tone as to what "had" to be done to end up with recruiting classes such as the 2018 group. Still some "additions" and probably some "subtractions" to be made before the February signing date. Great position to "finally" be in.
Really glad that Coley is happy with Athens as a whole. Family counts, eh . . . .

YD1 - agreed.
I was happy to hear Coley was content staying at UGA. We'll lose him eventually but I can't help but think Kirby had the sit down with him explaining that there are greener pastures awaiting him if he stays patient, builds his brand and markets it at the right time.
I'm not calling a score on this game but I think it's UGA by a cushion. 10-14 points when its all said and done.
