From Athens- Friday Thoughts

Good Morning All,

Like the rest of this season we approached early signing with an understandable caution that it all could blow up…..

A bit surreal that the first news of the day was…. We had a flip from us to Ole Miss…… flashback …. Losing an OT to the same school several years ago….. a chorus of here we go again could be heard…. Heading to the dumpster again…. As Lee Corso says…. Not so fast….

Not just a haul of talent with high star power but recruits that fill
A focused need….. all this done with our coaches sitting behind their desk using social media….. amazing ….. not… each and every one of the worked their butts off… prime example….what they preach …. Nobody will out work us…. Period…..

Yes sirrrrr…….. CSP …… added pieces to the process of building our OL of the present and more importantly ….. the future….

Coach Scott has new members for the #trenchmob ….. both OL & DL gained depth…. Quality depth…. Like it a lot…

Big Welcome to all the New Pups to the Classic City

Like the SECCG and our early signing success….. changing the meaning..

“Just Georgia…. Being Georgia”….. more to come relating to changing the meaning of this statement…. This Process will also continue…..

I keep thinking of some of the members that frequented here a couple of years back and all the things that we discussed and wanted to happen that are now a reality. This program has done a turn around that has given us renewed purpose and is nothing short of remarkable.

This recruiting class has addressed most all of our wants and needs for the foreseeable future and Georgia is sitting pretty.

Reflecting on the young men wearing the Red and Black that have meant so much to so many. These guys have put in the time to reach the place that they find themselves now.

There are always "favorites" and that is of course up to the individual FAN as to choice.

I am so proud and impressed with Isaiah Wynn. What he has accomplished since leaving high school football in Florida shows what talent along with desire can accomplish. Isaiah Wynn has meant so much to folks like myself that appreciate what he has done and how he has done "it". Moving out to left tackle as his permanent position had so much to do with the success of this group that is now on its way to California to represent college football (D1) in the Rose Bowl. Much is often said about the other positions as it should be. Looking at film really shows just how good/great that Wynn played in 2017. Any level of football requires that a team has to have a special player at left tackle. Isaiah Wynn was and is that young man for Georgia. Thanks a million Isaiah, know that your future is bright . . . . not given, EARNED.

You have been a big fan of #77 very early on.....


While there questions about him being a guard playing tackle he handled his position very well

Imho he was also the glue that held the #roadgraders together....

This recruiting class is simply unbelievable already. Fields may end up elsewhere I bet if Fromm wins two more games this season. But TWO 5 star O line guys. And RB studs. Holy cow!!!
