Good Day All,

Been pondering....thoughts rolling around....just tossing out thoughts..

Much has been posted here and elsewhere.... expectations for 2017 season...

Everything from season being a failure if we don't...... insert a variety of requirements...

Common sense and reason have served me in business and my personal life...

Having said that I to do not want a season filled with stupid stuff....

Would Like us to compete in every game and play up to our talent level with solid coaching...

Will restate this as I have for the last 10 years.....I will hold many comments until our final game..

Now... honestly....they only expectations I want is.....maximum effort every play...improvements

game to game....players and coaches.....

Whatever takes place in season two

Head Coach needs the fan support to make any necessary coaching or player changes.....

A great deal of money is being invested in our football program...we now rank number one

In support staff salaries and size.... Success of Alabama's program has been linked to its support staff..

Not saying we need to have 15. Years of patience.... just a wee longer than two years

Building a successful program is not a sprint ......

Just 10 days until fall camp...

Itchy

Pause and give thanks

Have a great weekend and a safe week

As always "Go Dawgs "

Go Dawgs!

yankeedawg1 you said and I would like to see your statement come to pass. Too many years of one thing or the other missing between coaching and player talent. Still concerned with the kicking/punting game.

Agree.....on kicking/punting game....

Buried in the coach speak .....I think coaches are aware that we need to improve both..

Believe we will hear more when fall camp opens......

Go Dawgs....

And this . . . . for what?

Athletics director Greg McGarity also saw his pay increase by $25,000, up to $625,000, according to the terms of the contract extension he signed in 2015. McGarity also will see his salary increase to $650,000 on July 1, 2018, as he enters the final year of his contract.

McGarity was is scheduled to receive his annual retention bonus of $50,000, payable next year. His contract runs through June 2019.

Scrooge was way over paid before the increase....seems the cost of incompetence is increasing

Safe to say we lead college sports with a high priced AD who is worthless .....

However, the Row is pleased....... unless the Row changes or another pair of red panties recuses us....

Scrooge 's contract will be renewed...... yuck.....

Kind of interesting to see how the ADs line up. You can click on conference and see the ranks within each conference.

sports.usatoday.com/ncaa/salaries/all/director

Definitely surprised to see who was at the top.
