I have my rant pants on……
The heads at M&M have come out and loudly stated…
"Georgia Fans are the most tortured fans in college football"…
This is a prime example of ESPN pulling our collective chain….. while patting the rest of college football on the heads.. no secret that M &M harbor ill will towards us…..
Speaking for myself I am not a tortured Dawg fan…… frustrated yes….. Tortured not so……
When one of our children underperforms to their ability we are frustrated…. And disappointed…… Not tortured….. horse hockey..
Why would we be more tortured than anyone else in college football??…
How much happiness has there been of late with the collective SEC eggs laid in Knoxville, Gainesville ,Fayetteville, Oxford, Baton Rouge…..
I am sure you can add many other college teams that have underperformed to this list……
Bottom line……
CMR…. Won a lot of games……
He failed to win the “Big” games and all too often lost to lesser teams….. making us frustrated…..
Also IMO…… CKS played last season for the most part with CMR team…. Results should not have been a surprise….
That is why I gave CKS…… 24 months in his first year….
It has been posted here that players during recent interviews are speaking about assignment football….being coached….. which includes taking responsibility for how you practice and play your position….. on every play…. Not taking any plays off….
Yes I want to see results on the field….. no excuses….. accountability...
It is fitting that we will have better insight to our progress come
September 9th in South Bend…… against the team we beat for our last NC… hmmmmm….
Pause and give thanks
Sunday the promise made at Christmas is fulfilled…….
