Has been mentioned on Dawgs.com several times that "some" of us really like the fact that Coach Coley is in Athens. SouthernDawg understands that.
Hard for everyone to know or understand just how much and just how valuable Coach James Coley is to UGA Football.
Any Georgia Fan that thinks that Holloman just fell into our lap . . . . not so. What we have with Coley is a solid football coach . . . . understands x's and o's and that is a given. Great recruiter.
James Coley is a respected football coach in South Florida and elsewhere. Coley is a needed coach in Florida if Georgia wants to continue to have a presence in South Florida in particular.
Anyone that doubts that Coach Coley will not change the way our receiving corps moves forward, might take another look.
Questions about offensive coordinator, if for some reason we are not satisfied with our present offensive coordinator, Kirby Smart has a coach that could step in immediately and "produce", Coach James Coley. Coley I hope remains on our coaching staff.
Head Coach Kirby Smart is not a dumb butt. Many of the coaches know that our program is moving in the right direction, as do the players being recruited by this staff.
Has been said that we are losing several offensive linemen this year. They tried, they gave what they had. There is some talent in Athens now, did not get a lot of playing time, but these young pups know what they have to do to move up. Might be that I am lost in the bushes, but I do know this, there is talent that wants to play on Saturdays. What I think is missing is this . . . . We (UGA) have not in many years built "depth". Whether anyone wants to accept the current group of coaches after their first year, not all some . . . . might be that Mecole Hardman will be "all that" in 2017. I believe that will be how this shakes out.
