From Athens- Game Day Friday # 10

Good Morning All,

I want to first take the time to acknowledge our veterans and again thank them for their service in uniform. Also I wish to thank their families for all their sacrifices. God Bless them all….

Veterans Day 2016…. Take time to thank a vet…. Please….

Special shout out to Greg and his fellow vets…..

Classroom moves back to Sanford….another urange team…..truly dislike that color…..War Eagle....Tigers .... Plainsmen.... just send them home with a loss

I look for us to build on our last game and continue to improve…..

Understand that Assburn is a team from the vaulted SEC West and is not Kentucky yada yada… however…..

We match up better than some give us credit for….. Several things came out of our last game..

First and foremost….. we don’t quit… we just keep playing…. We don’t point fingers or look to assign blame for our mistakes….. a reflection of our HC and staff….. big part of our player and fan culture change…

Defense….. young players getting better each game… having better understanding of what is expected of them… gaining quality depth…

ST…. played much better… and yes more needs to be done….

OL…. Played much better still room for improvement….we will see if we continue moving forward or will we take step backwards….again..

QB…….. learning on the job…. Errors yes but did much better not forcing passes into coverage….

Place kicker…… money when needed….. we need to find a scholarship for him……

DB……. Work in progress…

HC …….. learning more each game…. Took some good time outs to regroup “D”…

As Wart said last week…don’t have a clue which way this game will go..

Freck and Frack …. Doing play by play…. Endure the pain one more time

Growl…. Thrill of the grill one more time…… Buc save me a bloodie…

Pause and give thanks

Again if possible acknowledge and thank a vet for their service//

Time heals all they say but if you think about it time is the one thing nobody has time for.
