Young men such as the two listed below are what I believe will be the “norm” in the future of Georgia Football.
There is little doubt that this group of coaches are doing a much needed and often neglected area of UGA Football, building “depth” which leads to our future being brighter than maybe “ever”. No more of the “up and down roller coaster way of coaching, recruiting and playing on Saturdays”.
McGarity agreeing with Kirby Smart's handling of the A. J. Turman situation shows that we have a head coach that is being shown respect, and quite frankly will demand same.
Picked up quotes from a couple of players being recruited now and whether or not they end up with Georgia, what they are saying publicly will help us with others in the future.
Smart and Company are removing the “cloud” that had been hanging over our program for too long.
Robert Beal . . . .
“Alabama does everything different there than everyone else,” he said. “From the players to the coaches and the way they feed the players. I think Georgia is becoming more like Alabama now with Kirby Smart there, too.”
Jacoby Stevens . . . .
“I think something special is stirring up in Athens. I like the excitement of the coaches and they are bringing in a lot of talent. I think the fans, the students, and the alumni are truly getting behind UGA’s program.”
By the way McGarity . . . . how is the “plumbing” coming along. Seems Kirby and Company have a handle on football. Just asking. Smart does not sleep on the job, neither should you. Just saying.
