Interesting post scooby.

Will go along with what you said.

The "U" winning a NC based on the next ten years, not sure where to take that. Guess that is as you posted, with the current setup. Supposing you mean head coaches.

Guess my question is what will be accomplished under the present coaches in Miami that could not be accomplished in Athens for the past 15 years . . . .

BulldogShannon did mention in another thread that the head coach at the "U" has named a special teams coach. Failed to do that in 15 years on the Athens campus.

Guess old dogs learn new tricks, age not being a problem.

Willing to play along, understand the "game" being played here.

By current set up I meant how the playoffs are set up now. Four teams get into the final four. It would have been even harder when only two teams got it.

Not a knock on KS or a nod to MR, just saying its easier to go undefeated playing Miami's schedule.

Also pointed out earlier how many national championships Miami has won with coaches that didnt do so hot other places.

Does a program only get so many coaches? If you have a special teams coach does that mean you dont get another coach in other area? Shet, id have a special teams coach, third and long coach, second and short coach, etc, if you could have as many as you wanted. I cant understand not having a st coach unless there is some reason not to.

Scooby, I do agree that Richt will GET in the 4 team playoff once or twice----a nie acomplishment. But he will NEVER win it unless he truly changes and coaches with urgency like Pruitt and Smart do.

if bad play calling and bad special teams don't klet him down, softness will (no OL, no hard ass on staff to demand attention).

Buc and others, you will like this. My daughter trains with a personal trainer of Blake Sims --Bama QB last season with 2 natty title-- and Nkemdiche. Spent 20 minutes chewing the fat with Sims yesterday.

I can see the "Alabama way" with him==very respectful, very polite, and yes sir, no sir.

I was surprised by something he said. He said it wasn't Saban per say that was the reason for their success. It was Scott Cochran and Cochran's behind the scenes people like Ms. Aimee and her nutrition staff. Blake said when Cochran told you to do something, you did it twice just for good measure. He told me that Cochran MAKES you want to knock a wall down or kiil the opponent. And the ladies in nutrition like Ms. Aimee (he called her that) made sure each player had three uniquely blended shakes based on specific advantages Cochran thought each player needed.

That is the "Bama" way----attention to detail. Knowing it's the little things that make a winner. It's more than X's and O's. It's having the confidence in your own body knowing you have the opponent beat when you step on the field.

This is the most telling part to me: Blake said point blank the difference in Bama and UGA is NOT skill. Buc, I won't even tell you and the others what he said the difference was
Those on Dawgs.com have spoken the difference many times.

Only wish Richt would have bothered to ask Buc. wlayton, YD1, wartdawg and others.

Some radio host up here this morning said he saw where Chaney is now following the West Va. WR on Twitter. Didn't catch the guys name. Maybe the new WR coach?
