Anyone that believes that Mark Richt was the "big time recruiter" of South Florida talent . . . .

The truth is Bryan McClendon was the man that brought the South Florida talent to Athens.

One reason that I have said more than once on Dawgs.com that I sure would like to see Bryan McClendon remain in Athens. He is "all that" and it is more than recruiting.

Bet this. Mark Richt wants and "needs" Bryan McClendon to move to Miami. That way it allows Mark Richt to continue what his past shows "clearly", some of it mentioned below.

Bleeding hearts, this thread is not for you.

Again, Mark Richt getting credit for simply being the head coach. BMac did the work.

Anyone wonder why he was so quick to choose his new location to “extend” his coaching career?

There is talent galore in South Florida. Keep saying that, if not believed, check our roster, the FSU roster or any D1 Football team that has players that are “all that”.

He is going to a program that has a lot of talent now. The talent in Miami for 2016, already on campus is very good. Reminds me of 2001 when we had the new coach come to Athens. Lots of talent that soon proved that statement to be true.

Sorry, I feel we have been used and know that I will see the same happening at the “U”.

Five year contract “starting salary four (4) million dollars a year”.

With the available talent in South Florida, playing in the ACC, can see the yearly numbers moving up in the third year. Million dollar numbers.

Every year that I can recall, Richt's goal was to win the SEC East. Yes, I know that is where it starts.

Here is the problem from where I sit and view the comment . . . . Where did this National Championship chatter come from . . . . I know, do you?

He used us, you and I. Did well with the "vault" in Athens, will do the same in Miami. Peddlers understand how to sell "snake oil".

MR might surprise you guys down there. If you look at Dennis Ericsson, Larry Coker, and butch Davis careers they did a heck of a lot better at the u than any other place. Butch left a mess in unc. Coker is at a little school in San Antonio.

Funny thing is.... I don't care.

He wasn't surprising me here, and that's all I care about. Hadn't surprised me in a decade.
