That one thing is that part of the University of Georgia's problem over the past few years as it was built from the outside in instead of from the inside out. Fact.
We know that no matter heat who is playing the skill positions if we can't dominate the line of scrimmage we will not succeed at the highest levels.
We've had all the "skill" in the world over the years
and then watches one skilled player lead one of our peers to a NC. We've seen lesser "skilled" players win it all.... because of one thing. Dominating the line of scrimmage.
I'm very glad Eason is here, and I'm not going to take one thing away from his ability. He won't however do any better than the Staffords, Morenos, Gurleys, and Murrays of our past unless someone SMART builds a foundation in front of him.... and not one layer of foundation.. a foundation that is set DEEP.
Give him that and THEN the sky is the limit.
Let's all remember that, and just for the record.. Todd Gurley could have won 2 Heisman's if he had Derrick Henry's full complement of O-lineman in front of him.
God Bless and Go Dawgs

You and your Dad know a lot about "foundations".

I am expecting 100% competitive effort from the players and coaches.
No more shrugging and hugging from the head coach after we get our butt kicked.

Unless I miss my guess averagedawg, "Leadership" found its way to Athens. It has been a very long time in coming. JMHO.

Last year we carried the torch for change and took the beating for doing so.
Now the others want to be like us.
The difference is we speak football and they speak public relations spin.
You can't buy a reputation, you have to earn it.
Go Kirby and the Dawgs!!!
For winning the Natty give every Dawg a bone AND prime rib steak.
