Last year we carried the torch for change and took the beating for doing so.
Now the others want to be like us.
The difference is we speak football and they speak public relations spin.
You can't buy a reputation, you have to earn it.
Go Kirby and the Dawgs!!!
Much truth in the post above.
Many that post here over a long period of time took the time to evaluate what was going on with our program.
Can only speak for myself, hope that Dawgs.com continues to be a watchdog of our football program.
Football is the main topic here and there is good reason for that.
Main reason for the Group is the amount of money they can put in the vault. The Group has taken a good "first step", there are going to be many more "steps" taken by the Group, hoping they are taken in the right direction.
The fan base has proven itself/ourselves, cannot say the same for those that tried to force the public relations game down our throats. Yes they did that for one reason . . . . money in the vault.
Amazing what "noise" can do. Took a while as stevedawg noted above when he said . . . .
You can't buy a reputation, you have to earn it.
Been around this program for a long time. Do I think there will be hiccups? Don't think it . . . . know it. Kirby Smart knows that. As long as he does, the Red and Black can only get better. Back to that "Leadership" word again.
Maybe not the right choice of words but . . . . Kirby Smart is the "real quarterback" of the Red and Black.
Nick Saban knew that it was time for Kirby Smart to leave. Nick Saban gave Kirby Smart his blessings. They will be on the same field of play again . . . . one on each sideline.
What is next Kirby?
