On the Arizona Memorial...PearHarbor..

Reading the names who gave their lives that December

Day... Large number of brothers serving together who shared their last day...

There is a picture on the wall that I must walk past and look at every single night as I walk to my bedroom. It is a picture of the "Tomb of the Unknown Soldier".

It is there for a reason, and that reason is the title of this thread.

I have visited the Arizona in Pearl Harbor. That is a sacred place right there. Lots of emotions just remembering. There is still diesel fuel leaking up in little drops. Very appropriate the way they have us sailors ferry small groups out to the location.

On another note aloha stadium is maybe a mile away as the crow flies.
