RD said "If they screw this one up, then it will be clear that CMR was a much smaller part of the problem." Rockdawg, if this is the case we got a long row to hoe.

Buc, correct sir. Best damn reading on the net about our beloved Dawgs. Boss happy. Good crew here. Keep grinding on it.

Everybody waiting on the next shoe to drop.

Go Dawgs!

For winning the Natty give every Dawg a bone AND prime rib steak.

For what it's worth, this may all be rumor. But my friend for 20 years is in Atlanta sports talk radio He has interviewed every coach in the SEC many times ,

This does not mean he is correct but I guess he has as many connections as the next guy B)

Says the Kirby Smart deal was already verbally agreed on. Will coach the SEC game saturday then step down and come to Athens. Will not coach Bama in the playoffs.

Will keep Brown/McClendon. Everyone else gone with slight possibility of keeping Pruitt--GM will determine if he can deal with Muschamp or Pruitt easier.

Chance Shane Beamer comes.

Read where it is mentioned that the players being recruited should be looking at the "G" not at the coach.

Many players this day and time are all about the coach that is recruiting them, understandable.

Often that changes once the player/student is settled in Athens. That is when these young folks realize that the Classic City is much more than one person, the coach recruiting them.

Just like life, one step at a time. Good steps, great rewards.

Many successful players turned businessmen return many years after playing for another head coach or recruiter and the "G" is the reason for that. Great environment for young 18 year old men grow into manhood.

BulldogShannon, I can buy into that.

Hard for me to believe that Pruitt/Rocker and Company would be out recruiting if they "also" did not know.

Again, thanks. Good information for the "soul". :)

Friendship and business usually don't mix.
Kirby Smart will not screw this up.
Too focused, too intelligent.

Our bigger problem,
Alabama spends 50 million a yr on football.
Georgia half that.

Time to loosen up the purse strings if we want to compete.
