Wlayton sorry friend the bashing will never stop it will

Only be redirected. Be interesting to see how long the

Honeymoon lasts with our yet to be named head coach

Yes we needed to make this change...but as I voiced

Earlier. Great concern about those who are making the

Decisions about who will be our new HC. The very same

Group that left MR in place for 15 years.....fingers crossed

Amazing to see the offensive drop off after Chubb was hurt. Preseason headlines were all about all the offensive weapons at our disposal. Was it:
1. coaching that could not take advantage of all those weapons?
a. HC?
b. OC?
2. unjustified preseason hype?
3. a QB who got rattled and never got it back together?

Lots of low scoring games in the last half of the season.

Mark May said we should offer Jimbo Fisher. I would have to shower with hot water and soap everytime I saw JF coaching
seems slimy.

But would do well for a while.

Just food for thought. UGA needs to think this out, which I'm sure they have:

past tense... to be honest here... trying to measure my words, but it was "past tense". Really past tense.

That's fine... what he DID, but tires do wear out and need to be replaced, even the best Michelin's...

I'll let it go at that.

Hey WD he's not the coach anymore, the bashing can cease now.

I'm responding to a comment someone made about what he did, and how what he did in the past
to elevate the program doesn't matter in regards to what the program did today. I will respond as I see fit. I'm not going to sit here and act like everything was fine and dandy when the conversation is about our decision to move on and the state of the program under the previous coach.

Some still bash Dooley, but I don't see anyone asking them to stop with their assessment of that coaching era.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

In my opinion rockdawg, the greatness of Chubb, Gurley, and Murray masked how unbalanced and weak we were overall during the past few years. Even with those players we would get exposed against good teams and they were totally unable to overcome because really we've never had the line we needed, etc. So when we lost each of these stellar and superlative players, we tanked.

It speaks to their greatness, but at the risk of sounding like I am continuing to bash Richt, having the team performance drop off so much should have never happened. I'm glad we had and still have that sort of individual talent, but we need to have a more balanced and more rounded team where losing one player doesn't totally devastate our performance. That can only be done with more balanced recruiting and an increased emphasis on
our lines, and their depth.... and doing things like making sure we don't "miss" on multiple QB recruits.
