If history is any indication, we will go lose to a mediocre team in the Belk Bowl, call the season a success, and give Mark Richt an extension!

Maybe in 10 years, CMR will be honored with the Belk Bowl lifetime achievement award. :woohoo:

In the stadium again today. Not much buzz about this game this year. Pretty uninspiring all the way around. Never thought it was in doubt, but not much to get excited about. Was kind of hoping to see the D pitch a shutout.

Talk around the tailgates after the game is that there is going to be an announcement on Monday and nothing changes.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if there were absolutely no changes. Another 9 win regular season and a win over a terrible Tech team has guaranteed Richt is going nowhere, so why waste a good scapegoat
like Schottenheimer? After we lose 3-4 games again next year, we can blame Schotty then, finally fire him, and then start the "wait till next year!" chants again.

Gotta' save the bullets for when you really need 'em, and Richt doesn't really need them this year.
