My dad was one of the greatest brick layers to ever trowel out a bucket of "mud". Built half of the elementary schools in Gwinnett county, he did. He could eyeball a plumb line and toss a track of 10 bricks 12 feet up in the air and catch them on the other side without dropping a one.
Couldn't sing an aria in tune if his life depended on it, but man could he lay some brick.
