wlayton, you are right about our QBs. I take nothing away from ANY of those elite QBs - not ONE. My point (and I know you know this) was simply that if you can't win more championships with THAT pedigree - you just aren't going to suddenly "turn it around" with Eason. Between Stafford and Murray - not one championship. OUCH!

Yep....digression....certainly Stafford and Murray were the better QB's and won nothing.

Totally agree with you thriller....

Greene and Shock did win championships.... and at one time over a decade ago, Mark Richt wasn't a complete corpse, and had brought a style of offensive play to
the SEC that they hadn't quite adjusted to.

Since that time however, they did adjust... and Richt has proved he has no counter. His hires of assistants has gotten progressively worse, and every two years we hear about how he apparently took some vitamin B-12 and now actually has a measurable pulse.

So yes, give Shock and Greene their due... and Brian Van Gorder his.. and Mike Bobo the QB coach at the time his as well. Shoot... go ahead and give Richt his due as well for what he did a decade ago and further back.

Just go ahead and give him his due now for what his done in the most recent decade as well.
