The arm things regarding Bauta is a joke.

He can make every throw THAT THIS OFFENSE AND PLAY CALLING asks a QB to throw.

This isn't the the late 60's Raiders with the need for "the mad bomber" Daryle Lamonica at QB. We also don't do a lot of deep out stuff... and even then I 'm not
sure he doesn't have the arm strength for it. The Falcons Matt Ryan doesn't have the strongest arm in the NFL by any means and the deep out was a well executed staple of Atlanta offense under OC Mike Mularkey.

This is just another EXCUSE that Richt and company let slip out under their breath to their PR wing to justify not giving someone a chance because their mold is too rigid to ever change.

Don't buy it for a second.

Wartdawg, truth if ever it was told. You said.

"So, Faton, what did you do as a recruited quarterback while in Athens"?

"I held the snap placements for our kickers".

Today watched the second half of the Georgia/Tennessee game. Vols quarterback Joshua Dobbs largely responsible for keeping several drives alive . . . . running the football. If he had signed on with Georgia, he would have been relegated to snap placement.

Richt, Bobo and Schottenheimer. Bobo played. Richt and Schottenheimer sat. All three think there is only one way to play the quarterback position, and that is not running. Richt/Bobo crawled all over AM his first year starting, took his wheels away.

Wish I could post something positive about our coaching staff, so far in 2015, not a lot to be said, either side of the ball at this point.

sflanagan21, have watched some video on Bailey Hockman. Trust your judgment, and from what I see, this southpaw is going to be more than a bench warmer in Athens, that is unless that #10 on his jersey is a jinx number for quarterbacks in Athens this day and time. Watching his videos, much like Faton Bauta, takes what the defense gives him.

I may offend some but anyway,
I am beginning to think Richt made a deal with Lambert and his parents before his transfer.
He would be the starter, come hell or high water.

Maybe a prayer session or something.

averagedawg, have wondered the same thing about Ramsey. Did not play in a Richt style offense. Alabama (Saban) stayed on Ramsey's case until the LOI was sent. Will always believe Faton Bauta was recruited to keep him away from the gators.

Hey averagedawg...

Much like the deal that was made with Hutson Mason?

If you don't transfer you'll be my starter Senior year.

Buc honestly I've never thought about that.

But you may be onto something there.
