From Athens-Game Day Friday # 1

Good Morning All,

Just one more day of waiting…..it has been eight months….Game Day Friday #1……. As I said last week it just feels good to say it…

We understand it amounts to a paid practice…still our players are looking forward to beating one someone other than a team mate..

Score…..anything we want it to be…..
Expect basic vanilla football from us…not a game we will go deep into playbook…or show much on defense except speed and more speed….

ULM’s ….QB will learn what Chuck and Duck means very early on….

As DWS noted and others voiced agreement including myself..

No injuries….. get our starters some work and then bring on the depth building players and get them some game reps….

What I am going to watch is how Shotty works the sidelines what type of energy does he bring…..

This is a good first game…..chance to knock of the rust…let the butterflies loose….and….what I want to see from every game..Improvement….moving on to the next game….. attention to detail……. For the record.. Dawgs win…will cover the spread……

Still the choir called it a fix…BR was the guy….young cub report with AHB wrote several times….. BR would be the guy….

Now after GL being named starter was the QB competition still not real

Many would say yes as their choice was passed over…

For the record we are not the only C5 team starting a college free agent QB……. This week…… another twist to the college game….

The QB who I was speaking about two weeks ago was Doug Williams…..

Sadler spoke about Plunkett and Broadway Joe …. two others who did just enough to win Super Bowls

Sorry OvalDawg…..BQ Chicken sliders were voted down…wife wants seafood so…….I have to suffer with shrimp….. try the sliders for another game….
