Well hope there is some surprises this year figure we could use this thread to keep all that new recruits here when they sign own the dotted line.

I have a feeling Bmac will snag us a surprise.

Good day to all.

SteveDawg: Renamed Start of Week to SOW with week number from Jan 1. That gives us more room in subject line for the topic.
OK? If so I will renumber the others. Or give me another idea.

Got this from 247sports Bmac thats all i have to say about that.

Westlake outside linebacker Jaden Hunter is new to the recruiting scene and that isn't surprising seeing as how he is only a 2017 prospect. But now that things have gotten started, the 6-foot-3, 207 pounder has an impressive offer list that conisists of Louisville, Indiana, Colorado State, Alabama and Georgia.

UGA recruiting coordinator Bryan McClendon informed Hunter of his offer.
But he isn't complaining Hunter couldn't be happier to be receiving this type of attention so early on.

"Its just great," Hunter said. "Just getting the offers and having the opportunities, it makes you feel good. It makes you feel real good."

Both the Georgia and Alabama offers came this week, and Hunter has strong ties to the Georgia program. His father is the late Brice Hunter, a record setting receiver for the Bulldogs from 1993-1996, and his mother, Brandi Decker Hunter, played basketball for Andy Landers and the Lady Dawgs.

The offer from the Bulldogs came from recruiting coordinator and running backs coach Bryan McClendon.

Walker glad to be a Dawg!!!!! Got this from 247 sports:

Walker is the nation's No. 121 prospect for 2015, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He committed to UGA last month over Tennessee, Auburn and others.

Well we lost a RB Chris Carson changed his mind and decommitted but got Tae Crowder I think I like this one better.

Georgia lost a running commit on Monday when Chris Carson of Butler Community College flipped to Oklahoma State, but it did not take long for UGA to find another one to fill that spot.

"Tae Crowder, a 6-foot-3, 220 pound RB from Harris County was committed to Georgia Southern until Monday night. He is now verbally committed to Georgia after receiving the news he has an offer from the Bulldogs on Monday night."

Good news!!!

“They offered me today,” Crowder said. “That is where I wanted to go, that is where my Mom wanted me to go."

It happened so quickly today, Crowder says, “I can’t believe it, I am so ready.”

Dawgs247 will have more on this breaking new.
