I've got nothing against spinning something optimistically.

I only get negative when people time and time again give me reason to think negatively.

I saw this tweet:

Mike Sando - ESPN @SandoESPN

"The list of coordinators who would have done great in STL with 23 games of Bradford, 9 of Clemens, 8 of Davis, and 8 of Hill includes:

"

Damn I am so sorry that we didn't get Randy Sanders......not

Can point to several current coaches who did much better with college ball over the NFL

This time next year we will have more to say about CBS.... IMO he did not take the job just to be a front man for CMR

Here is some optimism...

Maybe CBS came to the conclusion that he was never going to impress and move up with his Jets past, and current situation. Jeff Fisher isn't really prone to prolific offenses and the QB situation isn't great.

So he sees this situation here and views it as a prime opportunity to immediately make an impact and get people to acknowledge his skills. May be a quicker way to get his own HC opportunity quicker than if he remained in the NFL.

If so, it shows he's willing to take a risk.... and he sees something in the talent here.

Worst case... maybe he and Fisher just didn't mesh.

Positivity

(Plus maybe McScrooge lured him by promising complete offensive autonomy because of the new plan to tune Richt's headset to the wrong frequency during games.)
