averagedawg, the "others" are out in force. Now we see "independent correspondents" joining the Rich bandwagon. If they want to keep those seats in Butts-Mehre, have to "suck up" and that is one part of the plan. Wonder how many hits the folks that allowed the "independent correspondent" got from the article? Wonder how many hits would be lost if they were not sucking up to the "Group"?

Article fails to mention that Cam Newton was not going to be allowed to play the quarterback position in Athens, under Rich. Cam had wheels and that is totally against the teachings of Rich. Some might recall AM being told not to run with the football. Cam did well, both running and throwing and was a huge part of the National Championship and winning the Iron Bowl his Senior year. Carolina Panthers seem to like his talent when the NFL Draft arrived.

Those that want many more years of this . . . . go for it. I do not intend to let up. If you are an outsider that reads and does not post, hope that you see some sense being made by several that regularly post here on what has and is actually happening to our football team. You know, the football team that is responsible for many young athletes being able to play different sports in Athens, other than football.

Steve, common public relations move when the truth surfaces and those that "need admittance" to the private places in Athens where the Sun does not shine.

This board is being accused of "hurting recruiting" with all this talk. This board speaks for the individuals who make up the TEAM and FANS. Not the sports PR industry. The sports PR industry has to promote the spin, they have no options.

If this board is hurting recruiting, why read this board? Why would a would be player not want to play for UGA based on this board? That is another less than "bright statement" that is used by the PR folks on the 9-3 8-4 side of the ledger.

Allow me this . . . . those that say recruiting is being hurt . . . . Not having a Indoor Practice Faclity hurt recruiting? Not paying Mike Bobo offensive coordinator "scale" hurt recruiting? Recruiting players and leaving them on the sideline hurt recruiting?

Sorry, the point is not debatable. It is a ploy used by those that don't want to lose their security blanket. Yes, they are acting like two year olds.
