would not be surprised to see him go to TAM as DC. Has connections in state and that type job would be a big stepping stone to his next HC job. Plus would help Sumlin out with recruiting in Fl. and Ga. Just can't see him working for Mahlzan or the old ball sack....egos would clash me thinks...

Muschamp went through the same sort of thing in Austin, Texas. Head coach in waiting. Might be this time he will remain with the head coach (not jump) and possibly learn a few things from Spurrier. To me it sounds like a better way to enter the coaching ranks as a head coach. No doubt in my mind that Muschamp would like to have another shot at running the show.

Don't really see Muschamp returning to Texas, especially TAM.

Probably when Muschamp returns from vacation, the announcement will be made.

Allow me this.

The group of athletes that Muschamp left in Gainesville is a good group of "talent". gators and thoughts of gators beginning to worry me.

If Muschamp does end up in Columbia, will be forced to pull up a post of mine predicting such. Trying to pull a wlayton.
