From Athens - Game Day Friday #10

Good Morning All,

GDF # 10 season has gone by at warp speed plus.

First a few items before moving on to this week’s challenge.

Wlayton….Champ needs to show up Saturday night

Georgia has been texting Russ….no excuses…. Just win baby

Much said about our run stop defense and coaching making adjustments at halftime.

IMO we saw both last in our KYU game.

KYU scored just 7 late fourth quarter points after scoring 24 in the first half. We shut them down in the second half.

True with such a big lead their offensive plan went away.

Fair and balanced ….. Seems that CMB get more verbiage about coaching not to lose….then when…he/we puts up 61 .. very little said.

Did any other team that played KYU score more points than we did this season? No…. MSU scored 16 less points and gave up the same 31 in their win…

Hard freeze in the classic city tonight and colder tomorrow night.

Saturday will be a perfect cold clear football night

This game is taking on the same feel that last year’s game with LSU

A former Bulldog returning to Sanford, and all the hype with it.

Who wants to win? Again this is a playoff game for us. Win and move on.

We will have something to talk about until we play the Nerds.

A voice in the back of my head keeps replaying all the noise before the Ark game. How big and bad they were and played Bama to a one point game.

Yes ASU is better than the Hogs but twice as good?

Do I fear ASU hell no…respect yes fear no

We pass and run both and make one more stop than last year we win.

Defense can take all the mystery away and make it less than a cliff hanger.

Have we played a game this year without getting a Turnover?

Pups will be ball hawking all night

Both LF and LC will run NM down from behind. He has not faced LB speed like those 2 this season

Statement time in Athens,Big Stage,National TV....house full of recruits....time to shine Dawgs

Erk,Lewis,Larry and Dan will be in their skybox early for this show

There is a lot of talk around the internet about "next year" . . . . stop it! Let's play a serious football game Saturday between the Hedges.

I go back to Pat Sullivan and his group coming to Athens many years ago, I left Sanford Stadium that fall afternoon with disgust, hope to never have that feeling again against Auburn, not in our place.

Champ is literally chomping at the bit....just noticed last night he has been chewing up the carpet leading up the stairs to the bonus room. The wood underneath is showing....looks like he IS ready for AU (as is my son Michael.....he's been playing a computerized game between UGA and AU all week....we won by the way)

When the Dawgs are really ready to play, they are very tough to beat....they will be ready tomorrow night.

Conversely......while some people may think AU will come into Athens mad and breathing fire, I tend to think they may be a little deflated now that they are out of the playoff picture....guess we'll see.

pretty hard for Bobo to go into "not to lose" mode against Kentucky. Now if we would of been up say by 7 points in the 4th quarter I can guarandamntee you we would of went into "play not to lose mode". That is the way it is with an inconsistent coach anyhoo...
