GDF # 3 – home between the hedges

Just a few items to touch on before getting to this week’s game.

Good job to those who posted after the USC game.

Being able to disagree without being disagreeable

I for one enjoyed the good exchange of football knowledge done without any giant pissing contest

About Tuesday’s coaches presser

As it was pointed out here coaches did not blame players but themselves which was the correct thing to do IMO.

Also been correctly noted that no way in hell does Toddy man up and say it was his fault if he was still the DC.

Coaches and players both have had plays go bad and hind sight shows just had badly it turned out.

Chances are that CNS does not try that FG at the end of the last years
Iron Bowl if he had it to do over.

OK, we just seem to do it more regularly –stoopid stuff………

Some question the timing and felt it would have been better had it been done earlier.

I can understand waiting until the regular Tuesday news presser

Had they failed to speak about it at all would have been a bigger deal to me than letting it pass for two days

Saturday’s game is our first cupcake

Paid practice, use it as such

CMB says we have a good chance to see both FB and BR at QB

IMO we need to play our backup QB’s as much as possible trying to get them ready for next year with quality game snaps not just mop up.

We need to get the yips out of our FG kicker, and get his head back
on straight quickly.

Urange is next week, don’t look beyond Troy

Play solid football, learn and stay healthy……please

Thanks yd1.....not an easy "tweener" post to write after last week and the supposed cupcake this week.

We'll win big but don't expect by 40 and no shutout either.

Just don't want any injuries.

Should be a relaxing watch and enjoy the cool one instead of "requiring" one (although too early for me....maybe enjoy one in 2nd half of watching Bama kick UF's butt).

Always one put aside for you yd1....or as many as you want.

Enjoy the game everyone and keep your eyes open for ANY improvement in the secondary.

Played KM as a freshman.... maybe be a good idea to apply that thinking to your QB

The word I got about the QB situation is that actually Ramsey would get the nod over Bauta if there was a change. They say Ramsey has "Stafford type arm strength".....not another Stafford, just a gun for an arm.

My understanding is neither is ready.
