DEloach beat out Ray Drew for starting job.
DWS (Dawg With Style) had thought about another thread, but this fits. Anyone that reads this board knows that I along with some others have been "huge" supporters of Ramik Wilson, still feel the same way.
It really shows that this defensive group of coaches are true to their word. Whether Ramik is second string or whatever, Pruitt/Rocker and Company said . . . . game minutes are based on "practice" minutes.
While it might seem to be something other than it is . . . . Ramik Wilson had some injury problems, there were others that stepped up and did what was asked of them.
This could be long, but will not do that "this time". We have young men that "want to play on Saturdays". Speaking for myself, I like what is going on. Might take another year or two, but what is going on in Athens as I type, DIFFERENT.
I believe that the "leadership" is coming from the "defensive coaches", matters not to me, want to see all of us recognizing that "change" has finally come to the Red and Black. It has been far too long in my opinion for a necessary change to happen. If we get out of the 2014 Season looking like a SEC Football Team that wants to compete, this old fart will be happy.
Never forget this guys, we have a kicking game. If as many on this board have said . . . . Special Teams rise up . . . . who knows? Been around for a couple of years, kicking game in the SEC produces "champions". Fact.
