Been thinking about this "scoring too fast" thing a little more since my last post. Let me say this......I have no problem with scoring quick and play some decent D, but in the last quarter, run it down their throats and milk the clock. We've always had trouble doing that.
Well that's what I mean. We've had chances at the end of some games to put the ball in our pocket and call it a day, but our inability to run off some clock has resulted in us giving the ball back
and then losing.
Yes our D should stop them, but even a great D isn't going to do that every single time and I
haven't seen us display even just good D in awhile (although I have faith we may see some now).
