As far fecthed as it might be...... Could Lame Kiffin be CNS Towel Toddy ?
Yes I know Lame has had success but he also has stunk up lately. What success he had at
UT was helped by having Dad as his DC. No question CNS picked him I don't think
Anyone else was interviewed. Be a hoot if Lame is a bust.......
Soft rain in Athens. Lawn cut soaking it up. Life is good. Mr Jack is tasting fine
Were are you Wart??? Go Dawgs

yankeedawg1, one major difference of Kiffin being in Tuscaloosa. Kiffin does know the game of football, problem was with his "oversize hat size". Happens to a lot of young folks. Saban will not allow that. Period.
Kiffin will coach talent in Tuscaloosa that is one step below NFL level, some say on par with some NFL teams. While Alabama will be the "hunted" . . . . Alabama continues to be the "hunter".
Kiffin understands using tightends, that will only increase what will happen in Tuscaloosa this season with Coker coming from FSU to Alabama to run the team. All any of us have to do is check out FSU last season and how Fisher used his tightends. Scary me thinks with the running backs that they have along with . . . . an offensive line.
Really glad that we signed tightend Jackson Harris. Alabama wanted this young man "real bad". Alabama however will do as they have in the past, find someone on the same talent level and sign them.
Personal opinion, Nick Saban made a very good move. He is simply head and shoulders above anyone coaching in the SEC, maybe in college football.
Just some thoughts . . . .

Buc.... to your point. Lame has never worked under someone like CNS. True Nick will
Keep a check on Lame. Question is when the heat is on how will that tight collar on Lame
React?
Wlayton..... Lame was a good OC...... has the talent to be better than good this rodeo
Still has to prove it all over again under brighter lights

This is Kiffin's way back into football. If he has not learned that at this point . . . .
Young coach let his "ego" and "youth" put a "stop" on his sometimes outlandish behaviour . . . . called lesson learned.
Recently we were faced with the "same" actions in Athens. Problem with that coach was his age. Never learned to "drop" his "ego", now he is under a coach that does not allow but "one ego" to show itself. His. If I were a betting man, think grantham will last "at most" two seasons.
Kiffin, as offensive coordinator, can remain in Tuscaloosa as long as he "understands" who he is working for. Fact.
