Yes it does ring a bell, more ways than one, not meaning to be too ugly. Below is a video of the FSU defense. Think all of us heard the talk during Spring practice about Pruitt/Rocker and Company "demanding" that the players run to the ball. Below there is more than enough tape to see just what Pruitt/Rocker and Company not only look for, they demand.
One word of caution, there is some language on the video, might want to be sure to turn the volume down or mute if there are some around that should not hear it.
Find myself starting and stopping the video, trying to get familiar with the defensive alignments.
Did read where Mark Richt said in the last few days that he was "happy with the defensive players since they broke camp". Working hard in the "between Spring and Fall".
Had to delete the video, language gets worse, no place for it.
Replaced the original video with this one, gives some pretty good examples of what Pruitt teaches. From what I can gather, Pruitt forces the offenses to the "outside" and that plays right into his defensive schemes.
