As the old boy from Vermont said getting this far has been like
pushing a logging chain for six months,has not been an easy chore

SEC Media Days start Monday the 14th

TG,CC and RW will speak for the Dawgs along with the Godfather

Hype and more coach speak

Can’t wait to hear the Ballsack whine about their schedule and how unfair the world treats the Gamecocks, pass the tissues Steve

Going on record as saying the chatter coming out of fall camp

Will have a different feel this year

Yes we will hear of any major events like injuries which I hope and pray
are not major.

As I posted in a earlier thread it is a real bummer having freshman Jake Edwards go down with an ACL-LCL knee injury. Surgery July 22nd

This kid is a hoss and would have played as a freshman.

Thoughts and prayers for this young pup.

What I am speaking about being different is the double talk from the coaches don’t see it happening with this group

Don’t think we will hear any excuses why we can’t/won’t win

All and all it has a quite summer after we cleared the ME people from
The locker room, a very good thing and much needed IMO

Thinking about Jake it may increase our coaches to see the need for
recruiting OL. One can hope………

My mom made a great point: I’m playing for the military and they sacrificed their lives for us. So who wouldn’t do that? Who wouldn’t want to play for them?”

Pruitt said most of the players needed to loose 15 to 20 pounds said were going to play fast also the work outs have been going good.
He said the players would loose the weight one way or another.

Yep yd1, SEC Week is up next....looking forward to hearing/reading/watching.

Getting closer to that time of year when the hair on the back of your neck starts to stand up....nervous stomachs....smack talk....anxiousness....tempers flair....happy/sad postings etc etc.......wins with RELIEF.
