Wartdawg curious. Are you asking me that question or is it supposed to be something that I have said? Referring to Buc wrote:

Has anyone actually said our offense was a bigger problem than our D?
Point me to those posts, and I'll be the first to argue against that point but I don't recall anyone saying that.

This was my quote that wartdawg is referring to here Buc. It's just that you had pulled a quote from me in your post above so it states "Buc wrote".
To answer your question wartdawg, NO, nobody here has stated that exactly but I have seen it stated other places. Anyhows, maybe a poor choice of words on my part but my point was & is, our offense has problems no doubt (playcalling, weak O-line, too many FGs, etc.) but our defense has more. As for Special Teams, well, they just need to blow the whole thing up & start over which is hopefully what is taking place in Athens now.
Hope this clears the air a bit?

Goose, I am glad that both you and Wartdawg are back and posting. Realize it gets flat, but have said before, there is a lot of Georgia football that can be discussed here in the "off season".
ogredawg is just calling it the way he sees it, in my opinion, he believes in what he is posting, he is a stand up guy. There will always be differences of opinion, that in my opinion is the way problems, if there are problems, get fixed. I would share a foxhole with him.
This season (2014) I honestly believe that we are going to see changes that were needed a long time back. Both sides of the ball and the Special Teams are getting "real attention". Heck, we may fall flat on our face, but I don't think so.
Here is why I say that. The players have said that this Spring practice was different than any that they have been through since they have been on campus. Strong statements, coming from those that are wearing the pads.
We, you and I have been spoon fed by the higher ups in Athens for far too long. Boards like this and others have a way of getting the attention of higher ups. They like to say that they avoid the blogs . . . . my answer to that is one used by growl . . . . got some land to sell.
Back on the topic. If there is a better offensive coordinator and . . . . along with that a better recruiter for talent in the State of Georgia than Mike Bobo . . . . hire him.
As much as I "bark", believe it or not I am a team player. When I am wrong, or not dead on point, then that belongs to me.
Like it or not, Jeremy Pruitt has changed the way business is done in Athens. Too many quotes coming from both the press, players and coaches to believe that he is there for the money alone. Pruitt will be one proud Dawg if the talent rises to the level he is trying to get across.
Many of the folks outside this board are shaking in their boots about losing the likes of JHC, Shaq and others. They would be here now if this were an earlier time, before someone like Pruitt running the "show" and from what I gather, he has "everyones attention". Pruitt is all about football, SEC football. He understands. Others did not and some maybe still do not understand. Those that don't understand need only to stay out of the way of "progress".
Build a offensive line. Had to say that.

Some folks would rather keep players around even with a shady past ,or a propensity to find trouble and cause static in the clubhouse, just to WIN. I like what I see going on now, and its happening more on the quiet side rather than the way we're used to seeing. Theres a certain pro player right now in the news who was coddled during his college days at a certain university we know of. Thats not to say that all the folks we "release" or they "transfer" will turn out like that, but when you give them all the help you can and it does'nt help, sayonara.

Say it again ogredawg, my deep respect for you comes from reading what you have posted on this board. Good Lord willing, maybe one day we can break bread.
Either way this 2014 Season plays out, it is going to be a crazy ass year. Myself, just glad to see someone set up shop in Athens and "demand" certain things. Erk did that, but he also had time to wrap his arms around his players when needed. See some of the same with Jeremy.
Will be interesting to see just how far Pruitt and company can advance the defense and Special Teams, especially with the players being on campus prior to him signing on. Don't like grantham much these days.
Many of you have probably read this article by Seth Emerson. Interesting.
