NFL Draft

I dont think UGA will have a guy in the first round and prolly not the second either. Dont know if this is a knock on the recruiters or pat on the coaches back.

Losing a dang good college qb but not any "next level" talent.

I think Sammy watkins is going to make whoever picks him look very smart. The first time i noticed that guy I knew he was something special. I also noticed after games opposing players always seeked him out to shake hand etc..

I also think j clowney is going to be a really good nfl player for a long time.

I dont think johnny m is going to be a good pro. Dont see any of the bama guys coming out being that good either.

What do yins guys think? Any dawgs in the top two rounds? Whos gonna be good and whos gonna be a bust?

Manziel will be a bust. I would rank him as the 3rd QB on the board behind Bortles and Bridgewater.
In fact, I may want David Carr instead of Manziel. He seems to me to be a sandlot player.. I've never really seen him sit in a pocket and read defenses. On top of that, he's got come character issues as well.. just not my cup of tea here. I would rather gamble on Murray if I waited that long.
If I needed a QB desperately, I would draft one earlier, moving up if needed to get Bortles or Bridgewater.

Between Gruden's camp and pro day, AM may move up to a late 3rd round pick... The thing is though with the size and concerns and coming off of injury many teams may see him as 3rd round talent
which will still be there in the 4th.

Artie Lynch probably gets picked up in late 3rd..possibly early 4th. He is our only player who even participated in the combine. The reports say he can do many things well, but doesn't really blow you away in any particular area.

Garrison Smith, Gates and Burnette will probably be late round picks, but those are difficult to project. When you talk about 6th rounders... they could go as high as 5th round or not get drafted at all and have to go the FA route. I'm going to guess Gates as mid 6th with Burnette soon thereafter.. maybe late 6th. Garrison Smith will be an end of the draft or FA guy.

That's about all I got..
