yankeedawg1, like the fact that you keep returning to the TEACHING aspect of the game.
Believe that Pruitt got much of the defensive (players) talent in what I would call the "fourth grade".
Kindergarten they were a great group to recruit from high school.
First grade, had to hang back and watch the upper classmen.
Second grade got to play with the tinker toys for a short spell.
Third grade, they realized that they had not been TAUGHT. Pruitt takes over in the "fourth grade", reason being third grade teacher was not a teacher.
Many, myself included keep mentioning Jeremy Pruitt, he is the one called on to be the leader, the coaches that will share that side of the field with him will also build their portfolios. That is a very good thing. This group has some or much of the "missing talents" needed to perform like say . . . . Alabama?
