My thoughts go directly to Pruitt. Comes in, changes the face of the program. Maybe in his three year contract, UGA gets to the final four, or the NC game.
What he will have accomplished is correcting a problem that has been just that for the most part under the current head coach.
Anyone think that Pruitt would not be offered and accept a D1 offer to run a major program? Pruitt is geared that way, if not, would have remained in Tallahassee. UGA was the next step in realizing his number one goal.
Our head coach learned his trade under Bobby Bowden, that has been said repeatedly on this board. Pruitt learned his trade under folks like Saban and Fisher.
What could Pruitt possibly learn from richt? I know what richt will get from Pruitt being on his staff. Probably a Special Teams group that will perform. A defense that understand how to play fast. A recruiter that works, does not sit on his backside.
Head coach says he has gained 40 pounds, maybe he needs to do as some, including himself have said . . . . get as involved as his new hires are.
Pruitt and his group will be in Athens maybe for his three years, then we are back to square one.
Think that over three (3) million a year has anything to do with his decision making. Much like the $100 mentioned in the opening of this thread, optimism is back and the sheeples are in line again. Think this was mentioned in a thread that produced a lot of hits a short time back. Follow the money, coach speak is for those that don't understand the truth.
